Poole (1989) included PALINDIA Guenée, 1852; PEROPALPUS Blanchard, 1852; CALYDIA Bar, 1875; and PALINDIONA Hampson, 1926 as junior synonyms of EULEPIDOTIS Hübner, 1823. Poole (1989) included 105 species in the genus EULEPIDOTIS.
