| Memo: | Nye (1975) stated:- G. mundalis is a junior subjective synonym of Catada detersalis Walker, [1866] 1865, ibidem 34: 1175. A junior homonym of Gausania Walker, [1856] 1857, J. Proc. Linn. Soc. (Zool.) 1: 130, -Diptera. There is no objective replacement name but G. mundalis is congeneric with Daona mansueta Walker, 1864, the type-species of Daona Walker, 1864. The latter is therefore available for use as a subjective replacement name. See: DAONA Walker, 1864. |
