| Memo: | Nye (1975) stated:- P. areos is dated from the wrapper of the part and not from the title-page of the volume, 1779. This name is proposed in honour of Mr Mark A. K. Habershon in appreciation of his unstinted assistance during the compilation of this catalogue. Poole (1989) included HABERSHONIA in the subfamily OPHIDERINAE, treated as CALPINAE by Kitching & Rawlins, in Kristensen (1999). Poole (1989) included BRACHYBLEMMA Hampson, 1926 (preoccupied) as a junior synonym of HABERSHONIA Nye, 1975. |
