Memo: Fletcher (1979) stated:- A junior homonym of Hippolyte Leach, [1814] 1830, in Brewster, Edinburgh Encycl. 7 (2): 431 - Crustacea. The objective replacement name is Epicyme Meyrick, 1885. Hippolyte was again proposed by Meyrick, 1884, Trans. N.Z. Inst. 16: 60. See: EPICYME Meyrick, 1885. Parsons et al. (1999) included HIPPOLYTE Meyrick, 1883 as a junior synonym of EPICYME Meyrick, 1885.
