Memo: Nye (1975) stated:- Tams proposed this name for the part of Hydrilla Boisduval, 1840, as restricted by Guenée, 1852, Hist. nat. insectes (Lépid.) 5: 236, and at that time known as 'Hydrilla Guenée'. Tams also proposed the emendation of the spelling of the type-species to H. palustris. Under the Code, Article 32 (a) (ii), the original spelling should be retained. Poole (1989) included PROXENUS Herrich-Schäffer, 1850; ELYDNA Walker, 1858; NEBRISSA Walker, 1862; RADINACRA Butler, 1878; DADICA Moore, 1881; RADINOGOES Butler, 1886; STREPSELYDNA Warren, 1911; HYDRILLULA Tams, 1938; TECTOREA Berio, 1955 as junior synonyms of ATHETIS Hübner, 1821.
