| Memo: | Hypercallia Stephens, 1829 was referred to the Depressariinae (within the Oecophoridae) by Kuznetzov & Stekolnikov, 1984, Trudy Zoologicheskogo Instituta Akademii Nauk SSSR 122 : 56. Hypercallia was treated in the Oecophoridae, Oecophorinae in Nye and Fletcher, 1991 Generic Names Moths World, 6 : 155. Nye & Fletcher (1991) stated:- Hypercallia was again proposed by Stephens, 1829 [July], Syst. Cat. Br. Insects (2): 192, and by Stephens, 1834, Illust. Br. Ent. (Haustellata) 4: 194. Hypercallia Stephens, 1829 [June] was treated in the Oecophoridae, Oecophorinae by Nye & Fletcher, 1991, 6 : 155. Hypercallia has subsequently been designated as the type-genus for the new tribe Hypercalliini (Hypertrophinae - Elachistidae), by Leraut, 1992, Entomologica Gallica 3 (3) : 133. |
