Memo: | Hemming (1967) stated:- The name Iterus was introduced by Donitz as a replacement for the name Icarus Röber, 1898, which is invalid under the Law of Homonymy. In fact the name Iterus was introduced by Suffert (pers. comm., G. Lamas, 2005) The higher classification used here follows Lamas (2008). |
