Memo: Nye (1975) stated:- A junior homonym of Lophosema Schaus, 1910. This generic name probably originated from Hampson, but was used and made nomenclaturally available by Schaus prior to its proposal and generic description by Hampson. The objective replacement name is Lophosema Schaus, 1910. See: LOPHOSEMA Schaus, 1910. Poole (1989) included GADIRTHA Walker, 1858; SCOLOPOCNEME Felder & Felder, 1862; SEBAGENA Walker, 1865; LIBUNCA Walker, 1869; PUCIALIA Walker, 1869 [as PUCIALA Walker, 1869]; ALGONIA Möschler, 1886; ENCALYPTA Möschler, 1890; TRIORBIS Hampson, 1894; LOPHOSEMA Schaus, 1910; and LOPHOSEMA Hampson, 1912 as junior synonyms of ISCADIA Walker, 1857.
