Memo: Fletcher & Nye (1984) stated:- Tutt, 1906 ibidem 5: 386, stated that he had fixed phaeodactyla as the type of Marasmarcha in 1892, Br. Nat. 2: 61, but no type-species designation was given at that reference, the genus being merely restricted to phaeodactyla. The designation is therefore dated from 1906 where a clear fixation is given.
