Memo: Fletcher & Nye (1984) stated:- A junior homonym of Mecyna Doubleday, [1849] 1850, Synonymic List Br. Lepid. (2 [Edn 2]): 14 - Lepid., Pyralidae and a junior objective synonym of Uresiphita Hübner, [1825]. Mecyna was used and made nomenclaturally available by Doubleday prior to its proposal and diagnosis by Guenée.
