| Memo: | Fletcher & Nye (1984) stated:- (but cited as Meliphora alveariella, an unjustified emendation). When proposed, Meliphora contained a second species, doubtfully included. Under the Code, Article 67(h), a doubtfully included nominal species is not eligible for designation as type-species. G. aluearia is a junior objective synonym of Tinea grisella Fabricius, 1794, Ent. Syst. 3 (2): 289. |
