Memo: Nye (1975) stated:- Meyrickella was proposed as the objective replacement name for Prionophora Meyrick, 1879. Poole (1989) included MEYRICKELLA in the subfamily OPHIDERINAE, treated as CALPINAE by Kitching & Rawlins, in Kristensen (1999). Poole (1989) included PRIONOPHORA Meyrick, 1879 (preoccupied) as a junior synonym of MEYRICKELLA Berg, 1898. Poole (1989) included 5 species in the genus MEYRICKELLA.
