Memo: Fletcher & Nye (1984) stated:- Micreremites was established in the Pyralidae; it was placed in the Noctuidae by Hampson, 1896 Fauna Br. India (Moths) 4: 542 Poole (1989) included MICREREMITES in the subfamily OPHIDERINAE, treated as CALPINAE by Kitching & Rawlins, in Kristensen (1999). Poole (1989) included 8 species in the genus MICREREMITES.
