| Memo: | Nye & Fletcher (1991) stated:- Phaeoses was included in the "Lyonetiadae" by Fletcher, 1929, Mem. Dep. Agric. India (Ent.) 11: 170; it was transferred to the Tineidae by Davis, 1978, Smithson. Contrib. Zool. 282: 1. PHAEOSES was included within the subfamily TINEIDAE: HIEROXESTINAE by Davis & Robinson, in Kristensen (1999). Robinson (2001) included 14 species in the genus. |
