Memo: Nye (1975) stated:- See also: Systaticospora Bethune-Baker, 1908; and Megaloptera Bethune-Baker, 1908. Poole (1989) included PIRATISCA in the subfamily HERMINIINAE. Poole (1989) included MEGALOPTERA Bethune-Baker, 1908; SYSTATICOSPORA Bethune-Baker, 1908; and MEGALOPTEROIDES Strand, 1910 as junior synonyms of PIRATISCA Meyrick,1902. Poole (1989) included 2 species in the genus PIRATISCA.
