Memo: Fletcher & Nye (1982) stated:- P. opalina is a junior subjective synonym of Phalaena rhodope Drury, 1782, Illust. nat. Hist. exot. Insects 3: 30, index, pl.22, fig.3. Prismoptera was earlier published in 1878 [March 22], Proc. ent. Soc. Lond. 1877: xxxiv, but it was then a nomen nudum. The dates of publication of the Transactions and the Proceedings are taken from Wheeler, 1912, Trans. ent. Soc. Lond. 1911: 757.
