Memo: Nye (1975) stated:- Prothymia is a junior objective synonym of Phytometra Haworth, 1809. See: PHYTOMETRA Haworth, 1809. Poole (1989) included ANTARCHAEA Hübner, 1821; PROTHYMIA Hübner, 1823; NANTHILDA Blanchard, 1840; PSEUDOMICRA Butler, 1892; and PYRALIDESTHES Warren, 1913 as junior synonyms of PHYTOMETRA Haworth, 1809. ANTARCHAEA Hübner, 1821 was referred to the Phytometrini within the Noctuidae by Wiltshire, 1990, Fauna of Saudi Arabia 11 : 232.
