| Memo: | Hemming (1967) stated:- The taxon represented by the nominal species Serdis flagrans Mabille is currently treated subjectively on taxonomic grounds as a subspecies of the taxon represented by the older-established nominal species Hesperia statius Plötz, 1883 (Stett. ent. Ztg 44 : 223 [type figured on Plötz's MS. pl. 686]). The higher classification used here follows Lamas (2008).
