| Memo: | Fletcher (1979) stated:- The genus was originally proposed in the Acidalidae (now Sterrhinae), but has since been transferred to the Oenochrominae by Meyrick, 1888, Trans. N.Z. Inst. 20:60. Theoxena was again proposed by Meyrick, 1884, Trans. N.Z. Inst. 16: 56. Parsons et al. (1999) included only 1 species in the genus THEOXENA. |
