Memo: Fletcher (1979) stated:- In the original combination of the type-species the generic name was published as * Urapteryx, an incorrect subsequent spelling. Parsons et al. (1999) included 4 species and 6 subspecies (inc. nominates) in the genus TRISTROPHIS.
