Memo: Nye & Fletcher (1991) stated:- Vespina was established as an objective replacement name for Careospina Davis, 1972, a junior homonym. VESPINA was included within the family INCURVARIIDAE by Davis, in Kristensen (1999). The superfamily INCURVARIIOIDEA is treated as ADELOIDEA in 'Order Lepidoptera Linnaeus, 1758. In: Zhang, Z.-Q. (Ed.) Animal biodiversity: An outline of higher-level classification and survey of taxonomic richness'.
