Memo: Fletcher (1979) stated:- Hampson considered X. dholaria to be a junior subjective synonym of Pachyodes latiferaria Walker, 1860, List Specimens lepid. Insects Colln Br. Mus. 21: 445. The two are now known to be distinct species, but their change in status does not invalidate Hampson's type-species designation. Parsons et al. (1999) included 7 species and 6 subspecies (inc. nominates) in the genus XANDRAMES.
