| Memo: | Fletcher & Nye (1982) stated:- The type-species was attributed by Houlbert to Latreille and has been attributed by other workers either to Latreille or to Boisduval, each an incorrect authorship. The error originated from a description and the illustration of a specimen of C. hubneri borrowed from Boisduval and published by Latreille, 1830, in Cuvier, Règne Animal 3: 439, pl.20, fig.2, with only the vernacular name Castnie Hübner. A note to this effect was published by Oiticica, 1955, Revta bras. Ent. 3: 159. |
