Memo: Aulocheta Prout, 1927 was treated in the Noctuidae, Hypeninae/Herminiinae in Nye 1975, 1 : 70. Aulocheta has subsequently been referred from the Hypeninae to the Herminiinae within the Noctuidae, by Lodl, 1996, Zeitschrift der Arbeitsgemeinschaft Oesterreichischer Entomologen 48 (3-4) : 99. Poole (1989) included 2 species in the genus AULOCHETA.
