| Memo: | Nye (1975) stated:- A junior homonym of Brada Stimpson, 1854, Smithson. Contr. Knowl. 6 (5): 32, -Vermes. There is no objective replacement name but B. truncata is congeneric with Hiteta mgsculina Walker, 1856, the type-species of Aiteta Walker, 1856. The latter is therefore available for use as a subjective replacement name. See: AITETA Walker, 1856. Poole (1989) included CAPOTENA Walker, 1857; BRADA Walker, 1858; CHALADRA Walker, 1865; PHANACA Walker, 1865; and THYRSOSCELIS (as THYRSOCELIS) Meyrick, 1889 as junior synonyms of AITETA Walker, 1856 in the NOCTUIDAE : CHLOEPHORINAE. |
