Memo: Nye & Fletcher (1991) stated:- Established unnecessarily as an objective replacement name for Cacochora Heinemann, 1870, which is not a junior homonym of Cacochroea Lederer, 1859, - Lepid., Tortricidae. Cacochroa Heinemann, 1870 was treated in the Oecophoridae, Oecophorinae by Nye & Fletcher, 1991, Generic Names Moths World, 6 : 51. Cacochroa was designated as the type-genus for the new tribe Cacochroini (Cryptolechiinae - Elachistidae), by Leraut, 1992, Entomologica Gallica 3 (3) : 132. Cacophyia Rebel, 1901 is also transferred here to the Elachistidae, Cryptolechiinae with Cacochroa.
