| Memo: | Nye & Fletcher (1991) stated:- Carna Walker, 1864, was established as an objective replacement name for Rhobonda Walker, 1864, a junior homonym, but is itself a junior homonym of Carna Gistl, [1847] 1848, in Gistl & Bromme, Handb, Naturg,: 578; and 1848, Naturg. Thierreichs: 176, - Echinodermata. Sattler, 1973, Bull. Br. Mus. nat. Hist. (Ent.) 28: 179, placed Carna Walker, 1864, as a junior subjective synonym of Dichomeris Hübner, 1818; the latter is thus available for use as a subjective replacement name. |
