Memo: Nye (1975) stated:- See also: Ausinza Walker, 1864. Corgatha Walker, [1859] 1858 was treated in the Noctuidae, Acronictinae/ Amphipyrinae in Nye 1975, Generic Names Moths World, 1 : 135. Corgatha has subsequently been referred from the Acontiinae to the Catocalinae within the Noctuidae by Speidel, Fanger & Naumann, 1996, Systematic Entomology 21 (3) : 246. Poole (1989) included PALURA Walker, 1861; GURIAUNA Walker, 1861; SOPHTA Walker, 1861; AUSINZA Walker, 1864; ZITNA Walker, 1866; NACERASA Walker, 1866; CELEOPSYCHE Butler, 1879; PSEUDEPHYRA Butler, 1886; CALLIPYRIS Meyrick, 1891; AVENTINA Butler, 1892; and TRICHOGATHA Warren, 1913 as junior synonyms of CORGATHA Walker, 1859. Poole (1989) included 105 species in the genus CORGATHA.
