Memo: Nye (1975 1) stated:- See Byturna Moore, 1883 Daona Walker, 1864, is a valid genus, revalidated by Inoue, Sugi, Kuroko, Moriuti & Kawabe, 1982, Moths of Japan. Vol. 2. (Plates and synonymic catalogue) : 400. Poole (1989) included DAONA in the subfamily OPHIDERINAE, treated as CALPINAE by Kitching & Rawlins, in Kristensen (1999). Poole (1989) included 4 species in the genus DAONA.
