| Memo: | Nye (1975) stated:- D. acanthusalis is a junior subjective synonym of Noctua patibulum Fabricius, 1794, Ent. Syst. 3 (2): 89. See also: Nahara Walker, 1865. Poole (1989) included DIERNA in the subfamily OPHIDERINAE, treated as CALPINAE by Kitching & Rawlins, in Kristensen (1999). Poole (1989) included NAHARA Walker, 1865 as a junior synonym of DIERNA Walker, 1859. Poole (1989) included only 1 species in the genus DIERNA. |
