Elkneria was subsequently treated as a valid genus, Bacallado-Aranega, Gomez-Bustillo and Vives-Moreno, 1981, SHILAP (Sociedad Hispano-Luso-Americana de Lepidopterologia) Revista de Lepidopterologia 9 (1) : 7. The genus Elkneria is treated as a synonym of Calliteara in Holloway, 1999 (The Moths of Borneo) (pers. comm. Harri Jalava harri.jalava@fi.flextronics.com) |
