| Memo: | Parietaria Leraut, 1981 was downgraded to denote a subgenus of Elophos Boisduval, 1840 by Sauter 1989, Nota Lepidopterologica 12 (4) : 336. Elophos is placed in the Geometridae, Ennominae and therefore Parietaria has beentransferred to the Ennominae as a subgenus. Parsons et al. (1999) included ACUSPIS Gumppenberg, 1893; PARIETARIA Leraut, 1981; and YEZOGNOPHOS Matsumura, 1927 as junior synonyms of ELOPHOS Boisduval, 1840. Parsons et al. (1999) included 18 species and 31 subspecies (inc. nominates) in the genus ELOPHOS. |
