| Memo: | Fletcher & Nye (1982) stated:- Engyophlebus was established in the Psychidae; it was placed in the Engyophlebidae by Hampson, 1920, Novit. zool. 26: 267, 268; it was transferred to the Cossidae by Gaede, 1929, in Seitz, Gross-Schmett. Erde 14: 549, when E. obesus was placed as a junior subjective synonym of Eulophonotus myrmeleon Felder, 1874, in Felder & Rogenhofer, Reise öst. Fregatte Novara (Zool.) 2 (Abt.2): pl.82, fig.9. See also Eulophonotus Felder, 1874. Nye & Fletcher (1991) stated:- Engyophlebus was established in the Psychidae; it was placed in the Engyophlebidae by Hampson, 1920, Novit. zool. 26: 267, 268; and was transferred to the Cossidae by Gaede, 1929, in Seitz, Gross-Schmett. Erde 14: 549. |
