Solanum geographical distribution data
Cleaned data set in csv format (EcheverriaLondono et al Cleaned Solanum BotRec) used in analyses of geographical patterns of Solanum diversification. Data originally downloaded from the Solanaceae Source database in April 2016 and cleaned as outlined in the text of Echeverría-Londoño et al. (2020). Column headings are: • RECORD = Record number in this data set • SPECIES = Species name • AUTH = author of species name (control for homonymy) • SPNUMBER = species number for this analysis • LATDEC = latitude in decimal degrees • LONGDEC = longitude in decimal degrees • COUNTRY = country of specimen collection • TAXSTAT = taxonomic status of species name • CLADE = clade membership of species
