Memo: Ephemerophila Warren, 1894 was established to denote a subgenus of Menophra Moore [1887] 1884-7 and was raised to generic level by Holloway, 1993 Malayan Nature Journal 47 (1-2) : 187. Parsons et al. (1999) included CERUNCINA Wehrli, 1941; EPHEMEROPHILA Warren, 1894; HEMEROPHILA Stephens, 1829; LEPTODONTOPERA Warren, 1894; and MALACUNCINA Wehrli, 1941 as junior synonyms of MENOPHRA Moore, 1887. Parsons et al. (1999) included 65 species and 26 subspecies (inc. nominates) in the genus MENOPHRA.
