| Memo: | Fletcher & Nye (1982) stated:- A junior homonym of Oenosanda Walker, 1856 May 10, ibidem 7: 1713, - Lepid., Thaumetopoeidae. The objective replacement name is Cautethia Grote, 1865. The precise dates of issue of the volumes of Walker's List Specimens lepid. Insects Colln Br. Mus. were published by Nye, 1975 1: 6-7. Kitching & Cadiou (2000) list * BRAESIA Grote & Robinson, 1868 and OENOSANDA Walker, 1856 as junior names of CAUTETHIA Grote, 1865. |
