| Memo: | Philarachnis Meyrick, 1925, was referred to the Xyloryctidae from the Lecithoceridae by Gozmany, 1978, in Microlepidoptera Palaearctica, Amsel, Gregor and Reisser [Eds] Volume 5, Lecithoceridae, p. 262. Philarachnis was treated in the Lecithoceridae by Nye & Fletcher 1991, 6 : 236. Nye & Fletcher (1991) stated:- Philarchnis was included in the "Gelechiadae" by Fletcher, 1929, Mem. Dep. Agric. India (Ent.) 11: 172; it was transferred to the Timyridae, now Lecithoceridae, by Clarke, 1955, Cat. Type Specimens Microlepid. Br. Mus. nat. Hist. descr. E. Meyrick 1: 20. |
