Memo: Fletcher (1979) stated:- A junior homonym of Arima Chapuis, 1875, in Lacordaire & Chapuis, Hist. nat. Insectes (Genera Coleop.) 11: 217 - Coleoptera. There is no objective replacement name, but A. isolata is currently treated as congeneric with Spargania magnoliata Guenée, 1857, the type-species of Spargania Guenée,1857; the latter is thus available as a subjective replacement name. See: SPARGANIA Guenée, 1857. Parsons et al. (1999) included AMYGDALOPTERYX Warren, 1897; ARIMA Kaye, 1901; and ERIOPYGIDIA Warren, 1900 as junior synonyms of SPARGANIA Guenée, 1857.
