| Memo: | Nye & Fletcher (1991) stated:- Not preoccupied by * Strepsiceros Rafinesque, 1815, Analyse Nature: 56, which is a nomen nudum under the Code (Edn 3). It is, however, a junior homonym of Strepsiceros Smith, 1827, in Griffith, Animal Kingdom ... by the Baron Cuvier, with additional Description 5: 365, - Mammalia.
