Memo: Hemming (1967) stated:- Swainson published the name Tamyris a second time in August of the same year in Part II on plate 61 of the same volume. The taxon represented by the nominal species Hesperia zeleucus Fabricius is currently treated subjectively on taxonomic grounds as being the same as that represented by the older-established nominal species Papilio phidias Linnaeus, 1758 (Syst. Nat. (ed. 10) 1 : 485). The higher classification used here follows Lamas (2008).
