Memo: Nye & Fletcher (1991) stated:- When Walsingham designated as type-species Manchana avitella Walker, 1866, List Specimens lepid. Insects Colln Br. Mus. 35: 1818, a nominal species not originally included in Acureuta, he also placed aspera, a nominal species originally included in Acureuta, as a junior subjective synonym of avitella. Under the Code (Edn 3), Article 69(a)(v), this designation constitutes the fixation of the originally included nominal species as the type-species. See also: * Acoreuta Bertkau, 1879. Robinson (2001) included the type-species of ACUREUTA Zeller, 1877, aspera Zeller, 1877, as a junior synonym of avitella Walker, 1866 which he placed in the genus TIQUADRA Walker, 1863.
