Memo: Nye & Fletcher (1991) stated:- Cremnogenes was made nomenclaturally available when it was published in a summary of a paper read at a meeting. The paper was later published in full and Cremnogenes again proposed by Meyrick, 1884, Trans. N.Z. Inst. 16: 5 [Key], 45, as the name for a new genus containing the same species.
