| Memo: | Fletcher (1979) stated:- M. nigronotaria is a junior subjective synonym of Carige cruciplaga duplicaria Walker, [1863] 1862, List Specimens Lepid. Insects Colln Br. Mus. 26: 1632. Epimacaria was originally proposed in the Ennominae, but has since been transferred to the Larentiinae; I have not found any published reference to the transfer. See also: Carige Walker, [1863]. Parsons et al. (1999) included EPIMACARIA Staudinger, 1897 as a junior synonym of CARIGE Walker, 1863. |
