Memo: Nye & Fletcher (1991) stated:- A junior homonym of Eriphia Latreille, 1817, Nouv. Dict. Hist. nat. (Edn 2) 10: 404, - Crustacea. There is no objective replacement name but Hodges, 1983, in Hodges et al., Check List Lepid. Am. N. of Mexico: 19, placed Eriphia concolorella as a senior subjective synonym of Ithome unimaculella Chambers, 1875, the type-species of Ithome; the latter is thus available for use as a subjective replacement name. The International Commission on Zoological Nomenclature, 1964, Bull. zool. Nom. 21 (Opinion 712): 342, placed Eriphia Chambers, 1875, on the Official Index of Rejected and Invalid Names in Zoology: Name Number 1722.
