Memo: Hemming (1967) stated:- The name Etesiolaus first appeared in print in 1958 (109. cit. 20 (A) (4) : 1253) in a key to the subgenera dealt with in that paper, but, as there published, this generic name was invalid, for no type-species was designated, and indeed no species was cited at all. The higher classification used here follows Lamas (2008).
