Memo: Fletcher (1979) stated:- Euchrognophos was originally proposed as a subgenus of Gnophos Treitschke, 1825, and was again so proposed by Wehrli, in Seitz, 1953, Gross-Schmett. Erde 4 (Suppl.): 602. Parsons et al. (1999) included COSTIGNOPHOS Wehtli, 1951; EUCHROGNOPHOS Wehrli, 1951; HYPOSCOTIS Hübner, 1825; KEMTROGNOPHOS Wehrli, 1951; LYCOGNOPHOS Wehrli, 1951; NEOGNOPHINA Wehrli, 1946; and RHOPALOGNOPHOS Wehrli, 1951 as junior synonyms of CHARISSA Curtis, 1826.
