Memo: Euscrobipalpa Povolny, 1967 was established to denote a subgenus of Scrobipalpa Janse, 1951 (which was raised from synonymy by Povolony, p.160) and was raised to generic level by Povolny, 1989, Reichenbachia 26 (2) : 158. Ilseopsis Povolny, 1965 was removed from synonymy and downgraded to denote a subgenus of Euscrobipalpa Povolny, 1967 by Povolony 1989, Reichenbachia 26 (2) : 160. Nye & Fletcher (1991) stated:- Euscrobipalpa was established to denote a subgenus of Scrobipalpa Janse, 1951.
