| Memo: | Fletcher & Nye (1982) stated:- P. pithyocampa is a junior subjective synonym of Phalaena capensis Linnaeus, 1767, Syst. Nat. (Edn 12) 1 (2): 813. The type-species is dated from the wrapper of part 26, not from the title-page of volume 4 which is dated 1782. |
