| Memo: | Fletcher & Nye (1984) stated:- Euzophera was established as the objective replacement name for Stenoptycha Heinemann, 1865, and for its preoccupied replacement name Melia Heinemann, 1865. It was again proposed as new by Zeller, 1867 December, Stettin. ent. Ztg 28: 377. Whalley, 1970, Bull. Br. Mus. nat. Hist. (Ent.) 25: 46, misquoted the Hulst designation given above and incorrectly cited Phycis pinguis Haworth, 1811, as type-species of Euzophora Zeller, 1867. M. cinerosella was a Fischer von Röslerstamm manuscript name made nomenclaturally available by Zeller. |
