Memo: Amata Fabricius, 1807 was treated in the Ctenuchidae by Watson, Fletcher and Nye, 1980, 2. Amata was referred from the Ctenuchidae to the Arctiidae, Syntominae by Venkatesha & Gopinath, 1995, Indian Journal of Forestry 18 (2) : 129. AMATA was included within the subfamily ARCTIIDAE: SYNTOMINAE by Kitching & Rawlins, in Kristensen (1999).
